Mothers day

So I went exploring with my friend.  It was great to get out and do something other than just work and
sleep.   I think I got some pretty awesome shots of some of the mining stuff around here.

So my Dad twisted his ankle.  He's such a trooper, He hiked down 3 times to show each of my sisters this fox den in  a field and helped move us, did bishop stuff and bbq'ed on it without even a complaint.  That's a real man for ya! 

For mothers day we had a BBQ.  It was really great, not our whole family could be there, but i think we were all together in spirit.  Happy mothers day mom! 

This is one of my favorite pics   that little girl wont slow down for a second!   she's such a doll. Glad we're family!

All in all I think we had a great day, from  sheep, hiding horses, dogs that lay down at your feet.   It was great to see my niece have a great day.

Scenes 'n things Price UT

I love this area.   I know its dry, and desert looking and when I moved here at first i was like... Its a hole.

But seriously it has its own beauty here.   The sky is OH so blue,  The town is just intermingled with history and old buildings and stories, everyone here just embraces their differences and loves to keep thing different and unique.

The train tracks go through this town and at night you hear them on the train tracks and blowing their whistles.   I also get to hear cows mooing, donkeys... making their sound, and occasionally coyotes yapping down the road.

There is really alot of beauty.  and its one that you cant just drive by to appreciate but you have to dig yourself in to see.

Simple Minds....

Okay, so  My dear friend Becky was chatting with me on facebook... cause that's the only way

we've communicated for the past few months.she was telling me she had dr pepper jelly beans and that blew my mind.  I LOVE DR PEPPER AND I LOVE CANDY!  whoooo i got pretty excited there and i told her to bring some to me... even though she lives 4 hours away.   And this is what i got!

She is so creative! I just love her and her fun things she does. 

My sister and I have a ton of fun with just a camera... one time we were crying cause we were laughing so hard.    Simple minds simple pleasures equal great fun!

Rochester Panel

 We celebrated my Mom's birthday.  It was great!  My niece was so excited to be outside, we played with bubbles and she loved that! 

We went for a hike to Rochester Panel.  It has great Petroglyphs.  

Even though I'm afraid of heights I always try to get to the top of things.  

It makes me dizzy standing on the ledges but I like it. haha

Night Photography

this time i figured how to focus and it made it so much better!  I was so excited when it actually worked, i took a flashlight and shown it on the bush and then focused on that and everything else came together.

I tried writing my name... a's are hard for me to write backwards cause you have to do it like a mirror. hahaha oh well it turned out pretty well i thought.

And this is me being a nerd... which I rock at. hahaha
